Ray Erskine Parker Jr. net worth & biography:

Musician Ray Parker Jr., with an estimated net worth of approximately $2.5 million, is best known for composing and performing the title song to hit film Ghostbusters. And while he does have “Ghostbusters” to thank for the majority of his net worth, his career includes more than that single song. Parker’s musical career began as a guitarist in the house band in the well-known 20 Grand night club in Detroit, Michigan. From that point, Parker was hired by the group The Detroit Spinners, with whom he toured the country. Some time much later in the mid 1970s, Parker started the group Raydio, which released their first hit song, “Jack and Jill,” in 1978. Raydio continued to release hit songs to the early 80s, before Parker began his solo career.

Ray Parker Jr. Net Worth $2.5 Million Dollars

After a few brief years, he was hired to record what would become his most famous song, “Ghostbusters.” The song, while still a popular favorite, is not free from controversy. The two parties settled out of court, and also the similarity between the two tunes is unmistakable. Since “Ghostbusters,” Ray Parker, Jr. has appeared in various television shows and advertisements. He’s mostly absent from show business today.
